Our client is a supplier of power generation technologies. From novel gas turbines through to renewable energy solutions their global operation is recognised as one of the industry leaders in the provision of commercial and industrial power systems.

Having recently set up a European base their operation has grown quickly and consequently this has lead to the need for an Electrical Engineer to join their Wind team in Hamburg.

The primary responsibility of this position is to successfully develop their first European off-shore project. Tasked with the design of wind turbine electrical system (generator, converter, transformer, etc.) and control systems you will be responsible for the coordination of component suppliers and managing bought in technical consultancy services.

You will be used to taking on high degree of responsibility and will be required to have an entrepreneurial attitude, so as a degree qualified engineer your will be expected to have experience of either the Wind Industry or another renewable energy technology.
