GE Energy Financial Services said Wednesday it is investing $117 million in an Oklahoma wind farm through a partnership with Horizon Wind Energy LLC.

Horizon Wind is a subsidiary of EDP Renewables, which has pledged about $4 billion to U.S. wind farm construction through 2012.

The announcement was made after the markets closed Wednesday. General Electric’s stock finished down 10 cents at $16.07 a share.
